Celestial Church of Christ (CCC), Ogo Ayo Cathedral, popularly known as Shekinah Crusader, on Sunday hosted its 32nd Adult Harvest and Thanksgiving Service, attracting a large gathering of worshippers and prominent personalities.

The colourful celebration, held in Ogun State, created a carnival-like atmosphere as members, traditional rulers, government officials, and entertainment figures gathered to thank God for His preservation, provision, and faithfulness throughout the year.

Church leaders described the annual harvest thanksgiving as one of the most significant events on the cathedral’s calendar, bringing together members and the wider community in worship, gratitude, and reflection.

This year’s edition witnessed an impressive turnout of dignitaries and featured an elaborate programme of praise and celebration. Notable among the guests was the Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi, alongside government and community leaders. Popular Nollywood actors and actresses, including Fathia Balogun, Dayo Amusa, Bose Arowosegbe, and Wunmi Ajiboye, were also present, adding glamour to the event.

The service was further enriched by performances from a strong lineup of gospel ministers and music stars such as Atorise, Shina Peters, Dare Melody, Kayslik, Apekeola, Megga 99, Segun Nabbi, Queen Busola Oke, and Esther Igbekele. In total, about 21 musicians ministered in songs of praise, keeping worshippers on their feet throughout the service.

Her husband, Apesin Lanre Kolade, who served as the chief organiser of the event, played a vital role in coordinating activities to ensure a smooth and successful celebration.
