Kumuyi Urges Leaders to Put People First
Kumuyi Calls for Responsible Leadership
The General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor Dr William F. Kumuyi, has urged Nigerian political leaders to prioritise the welfare of citizens.
He stressed that elected officials must never see themselves as being above the people who voted them into office. According to him, leaders must remain accountable to the electorate and fulfil the mandate given to them.
Kumuyi delivered this message during a courtesy visit to the palace of His Imperial Majesty, Ambassador Kevin Ngozi Anugwo, the Eze Ekpeye-Logbo III, in Ahoada, Rivers State.

Visit Linked to Global Crusade with Kumuyi
The renowned evangelist visited Ahoada for the Global Crusade with Kumuyi, a major evangelistic programme that attracts participants from many countries.
During the visit, Kumuyi explained the purpose of the crusade. He said the programme aims to remind people that Jesus Christ remains sufficient to save, heal, and deliver individuals facing life’s challenges.
Prayer for the Ekpeye Monarch
During the palace visit, the cleric prayed for the monarch. He asked God to grant him wisdom and strength to serve both his people and the kingdom of God effectively.
The visit highlighted the role of spiritual leaders in encouraging unity and moral leadership in society.
Monarch Praises Kumuyi’s Impact
Responding to the visit, the Eze Ekpeye-Logbo III praised Pastor Kumuyi’s previous crusade in the kingdom.
He recalled that the pastor’s 2024 visit brought spiritual growth and positively influenced community relations in the area.
The monarch expressed joy that the Ekpeye Kingdom hosted the preacher again. He also said residents expect greater blessings through the latest Global Crusade with Kumuyi.
Religious and Traditional Leaders Attend
Several religious and traditional leaders attended the event at the palace.

Pastor Nkeruwem Ukoh, State Overseer for the Rivers West Administration.
More than 12 state and regional overseers also attended the gathering.
In addition, over 15 traditional rulers, clan heads, and chiefs from the Ekpeye Kingdom welcomed Pastor Kumuyi and his entourage.
