True Worshippers Church Celebrates Thanksgiving With Joyful Giveaway

The atmosphere at True Worshippers Church on Sunday, 28th of December  was nothing short of joyful as members and guests gathered for a special Thanksgiving and Giveaway Service that left everyone smiling, fulfilled, and spiritually refreshed.

From the opening prayers to the final benediction, the church auditorium resonated with laughter, thanksgiving songs, and heartfelt testimonies. At the close of the service, worshippers did not only leave with uplifted spirits but also with seasonal gifts, reinforcing the church’s message of love, unity, and generosity.

Delivering the sermon, the Pastor of True Worshippers Church, Rev. Niyi Adebayo, emphasized that giving is one of the most powerful expressions of gratitude to God. He explained that thanksgiving goes beyond words and songs, noting that genuine appreciation is often demonstrated through acts of kindness and generosity.

Rev. Adebayo made it clear that one does not need to be wealthy to cultivate the habit of giving. According to him, “Giving is not about how much you have, but about the heart with which you give.” He encouraged members to emulate God’s gift of love to humanity by being a blessing to others, regardless of their financial status.

The service, which attracted worshippers from different walks of life, was filled with praise, worship, and thanksgiving to God for His faithfulness throughout the year.

According to Rev. Adebayo, giving is not reserved for the wealthy alone. He emphasized that one does not need to be the richest person to emulate the gift of giving, explaining that generosity begins with a willing and grateful heart. He reminded the congregation that God values obedience and love more than the size of a gift.

The cleric further clarified that the gifts shared during the service were not meant for the needy, but were distributed as members of one family in Christ Jesus. He stressed that the church represents a spiritual family where love is shared equally, and no one is left out. Rev. Adebayo encouraged believers to cultivate the habit of giving, noting that anyone who consistently practices generosity never lacks, as God remains the ultimate rewarder.

Adding to the exhortation, Pastor Stephen Akinpelu encouraged members to receive the gifts with gratitude and love. He also urged those who are blessed with resources and talents to share freely with others, reiterating that True Worshippers Church is not just a place of worship, but a family bound together by love.

The gifting session was conducted in an orderly and dignified manner. Special consideration was given to the elderly, widows, and children, who received specially packaged gifts. Items shared included beautiful clothing, bags of salt, food items, and several other household essentials, all prepared to bring comfort and joy to recipients.

Members expressed appreciation to the church leadership for organizing a service that went beyond words, translating faith into action. The Thanksgiving and Giveaway Service stood as a reminder that Christian worship is most meaningful when it reflects love, unity, and generosity.

The Thanksgiving and Giveaway Service once again reinforced True Worshippers Church’s commitment to promoting Christian values, unity, and practical faith—reminding believers that joy multiplies when shared.
