Joyful Thanksgiving at CAC All Saints Chapel Ibadan
Members of Christ Apostolic Church, CAC, All Saints Chapel, Basorun, Ibadan, gathered with joy and gratitude for their New Year Thanksgiving Service. The congregation included children, youths, men, women, and clergy.
Worshippers expressed heartfelt appreciation to God through singing, dancing, and thanksgiving. Their celebration reflected deep gratitude for God’s faithfulness over the past year.
The President of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor S. O. Oladele, attended the special service alongside his wife, Mrs. Suzanna Kehinde Oladele. His presence added significance to the annual thanksgiving gathering.
The service began promptly at 9:00 a.m. with Hymn 95, “Praise to the Lord,” from the Christ Apostolic Church Hymn Book.
CAC President Delivers Powerful Sermon on Trusting Christ
Pastor Oladele delivered a sermon titled “With Christ in the Ship.” He read from John 6:16–21, which describes how Jesus calmed the storm that troubled His disciples.
He explained that the disciples faced fear and uncertainty during the storm. However, everything changed when Jesus appeared. His presence brought calm, comfort, and immediate deliverance.
Pastor Oladele used this passage to remind Christians that Jesus still calms life’s storms today.

Invite Jesus Into Your Ship, CAC President Charges Christians
The CAC President urged believers to ensure Christ remains at the center of their lives in 2026 and beyond.
He explained that human companions may offer support but can fail during difficult moments. In contrast, Jesus never fails.
He encouraged worshippers to build a deeper relationship with Christ. According to him, Jesus remains the only unfailing companion.
He reminded the congregation that Jesus is Emmanuel, meaning “God with us.” Therefore, believers should not fear because Christ has already conquered every storm.
Special Blessings to Begin the New Year
The thanksgiving service ended with special prayers and blessings for the congregation. Pastor Oladele declared God’s favor, protection, and guidance upon the worshippers.
The powerful message encouraged believers to trust Christ completely. It also reminded them to depend on Jesus as they navigate the uncertainties of life in the new year.
For many attendees, the service strengthened their faith and renewed their confidence in God’s presence.
