The RCCG Holy Ghost Service 40 celebration witnessed passionate prayers for Nigeria’s future as Pastor Foluke Adeboye asked God to fill the nation’s leaders with the Spirit of Excellence.

She made the call during a special Holy Ghost Service at the Redemption City of God, organized to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Redeemed Christian Church of God’s global prayer gathering.

During the RCCG Holy Ghost Service 40, Pastor Foluke Adeboye led the congregation in intercessory prayers for nations around the world.

Pastor Adeboye prayed that God would transform the nation’s leadership and give leaders the wisdom needed to govern effectively.

“Lord, we pray for robust economic development that will enhance the quality of life of the masses,” she said.

She compared Nigeria with countries where electricity supply works efficiently and transportation systems run smoothly without fear of insecurity.

Pastor Adeboye emphasized that Nigeria needs leaders guided by the Spirit of Excellence.

“When our leaders are filled with the Spirit of Excellence, citizens will enjoy better living conditions and access to quality education,” she said.

She also asked God to show mercy on Nigeria and bring lasting transformation.

Prayers for Justice, Healthcare and Security

Pastor Adeboye prayed for improvements in:

The RCCG Holy Ghost Service 40 anniversary drew thousands of worshippers to Redemption City.

The service carried the theme “Excellence.” The church’s mass choir led powerful praise and worship sessions throughout the night.

Ministering at the event, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of RCCG, spoke about the excellent nature of God.
