Seeking God’s Mercy for National Survival

Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre Worldwide, Dr Paul Enenche, has said Nigeria needs God’s mercy to overcome its growing challenges.

He spoke with journalists in Makurdi, Benue State, shortly after arriving for a two-day Healing and Deliverance Crusade organised by the church.

According to him, the nation faces pressures that human effort alone cannot solve.

Insecurity and Other Threats Worry Cleric

Enenche said insecurity and social instability continue to threaten the country.

He urged Nigerians to turn to God and seek divine mercy for survival and progress.

“We are here to connect with the God of mercy. It is only by His mercy that we are not consumed,” he said.

He added that God’s compassion remains constant, even in difficult times.

Call for Responsible Leadership

The cleric also challenged leaders at all levels to take responsibility.

He urged them to govern with compassion and place the welfare of citizens first.

“Let our leaders have a heart for human beings and take responsibility for their actions,” Enenche said.

He expressed confidence that God would help the nation if leaders acted rightly.

Trusting God While Doing Our Part

Enenche encouraged Nigerians not to rely only on human solutions.

He asked citizens to trust God while doing their best in their personal and professional duties.

“The Bible says they looked unto Him and were enlightened. Let us look up to God,” he said.

Church Concludes Week-Long Outreach

The church also announced the conclusion of a week-long outreach programme.

The outreach began in Ankpa, Kogi State, on February 2 and ended in Makurdi on February 7.

Activities included crusades, prayers, deliverance sessions, and free medical services.

Over 4,000 Receive Free Medical Care

According to the church, 4,007 people received free medical attention during the outreach.

Medical teams treated residents in Ankpa, Gboko, and Makurdi.

They carried out dental scaling, tooth extractions, and routine consultations.

Wide Range of Medical Services Offered

Health workers treated conditions such as malaria, hypertension, diabetes, and skin diseases.

They also conducted laboratory tests, including HIV, hepatitis, and blood sugar screening.

Dental and eye clinics formed part of the programme.

Patients with eye defects received corrective glasses, while doctors referred serious cases for specialist care.

Relief Materials Distributed

In addition to medical services, beneficiaries received food items and clothing.

The church said the outreach reflected its commitment to both spiritual and humanitarian support.
