Primate Ndukuba Visits UNIZIK, Seeks Collective Effort for Greater Achievements

The Archbishop, Metropolitan and Primate of All Nigeria, Most Rev (Dr) Henry Ndukuba, visited Nnamdi Azikiwe University, UNIZIK, on Tuesday, February 10, 2026.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ugochukwu Bond Stanley Anyaehie received the Primate in his office during the courtesy visit. The visit created a moment of deep inspiration for the university leadership.

The Primate arrived with his wife, Mrs. Angela E. Ndukuba, President of the Mothers’ Union (Mama Nigeria), alongside senior clergy members.

Primate Offers Prayers and Encouragement

During the visit, Primate Ndukuba prayed for Prof. Anyaehie’s successful tenure. He assured the Vice-Chancellor of the Church’s continuous intercession and spiritual support.

Drawing from Scripture, the Archbishop compared the Vice-Chancellor’s journey to that of Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. He stressed that firm trust in God brings wisdom, resilience, and victory.

He described God as the fountain of knowledge and understanding. According to him, divine guidance remains essential for leadership and institutional growth.

Call for Collective Support in Transforming UNIZIK

Primate Ndukuba urged stakeholders to support the Vice-Chancellor’s vision for the university. He emphasized that sustainable transformation requires unity and shared responsibility.

He encouraged the university community to work together toward excellence. According to him, collective effort will drive meaningful progress and long-term achievements.

Vice-Chancellor Reaffirms Faith and Gratitude

Prof. Anyaehie thanked the Primate for the visit and the prayers offered. He reaffirmed his trust in God and acknowledged divine grace as the foundation of his life’s accomplishments.

The Vice-Chancellor pledged to remain steadfast in faith while leading the institution. He noted that the university grounds its discussions and decisions in Christian principles.
